I’m a little late with this given that today is Mothers Day, but keep this in mind for birthdays or Christmas. This is something I got my grandmother and I’m pretty sure it’s made me her favorite grandchild ever since.
You’ve probably tried to get your parents or grandparents into the internet age. But for many, it just doesn’t go well. My grandmother is about 90 so showing her how to FaceTime is a challenge. And I hate sending emails with photos attached because she’s never quite sure how to download them.
Enter this photo frame (Nixplay Seed 8 inch WiFi Digital Photo Frame – Black) I bought for her for Christmas a couple years ago. It connects to her WiFi (I don’t know if she even knows what WiFi is.) Anytime anyone in the family wants to send a photo to her frame, they just send it to an email address I set up. Within seconds it pops up on her frame. All she has to do is walk over to it. It’s motion activated. And it scrolls through hundreds of photos every few minutes depending on how you set it.
You’ll definitely have to do the set up. But once it’s up and running, all they have to do is walk up to the frame. I bring it up because Amazon has it on sale today.
