Before heading to the Rays game, I stopped off at my happy place. You know how they say “go to a happy place in your head”? I don’t have to imagine. Mine is an actual building. Mazzaros in St. Petersburg is my home away from home. The smells of the spices, wines, cheeses, deli, bakery… nothing makes me happier than a trip to Mazzaros. I actually get angry at Floridians who tell me they’ve never been.
